One thing to note with any product/appliance that loads the checkpoint
products:
- Be very careful what you specify in the software list.
While US$74k does seen very high, that could include:
- ISS RealSecure
- VPN-1 4.1(sp2) VPN_Strong, Enterprise Unlimited + Routers.
- MetaIP
and a number of other options.
The most common (from my experience) configuration of an IP330 is with
either VPN-1 firewall-module 100, or VPN-1 single-gateway-100, and these are
between US$1000 and US$5000 (depending on volume, tax, and features).
