All the energy wholesalers and providers have back-end SQL boxes that are updated by the ISO and update the ISO, every few minutes. These same boxes are sometimes also used as the back-end for the providers and wholesalers Web servers in the DMZ. They ran PIX and the ISP had their own security, and managed the DMZ. Don't know where the attacks came from, but sometimes the "road-in" may not be from where you think when you say "publicly accessible". "The system is now TOTALY SECURE"? You tell me given the above.
