I had to go throug hthis before and it's a pain. There is a flat file where most configuration is stored in. This file you will need to copy to another file and remove the admin password. Once that is done you will need to add it back in it will be similiar to echoing it back to the file but you will need to pipe the password to a command to encrypt the password. If I had one available I could give you more specifics. There is some one alluding to it onan old firewall list that I found that helped.
