Wrong approach. The right way to do this is to block everything, and then unblock the things that your network policy says you allow. Oh -- you might need to write a network policy first. > 2. Find large sessions in the firewall logs. (You do keep the logs, don't you?) 2. Sniff the internal network to see whose machine is getting all the traffic. 3. (Requires SNMP-capable switch(es)) Use MRTG to match big incoming bandwidth use at the firewall with exceptional outbound bandwidth use to some specific switch port.
