Better performance and a better price and easier configuration is
available from Asatro Security Linux. Ws tested in the German Network
World edition, had 3 times better performance than Pix 515, and was half
price. You need an old Pc (or take a new $500 PC), I believe their price
for the SW for your installation should be $1500 including virus
protection. Have never had an easier to install firewall.

Subject: Watchguard vs. Cisco PIX

My company is looking to purchase a firewall; we are looking at the
Watchguard 4500 and the Cisco PIX 515. Our communication lines that
we use are 3 T1 lines. We have 14 employees in the office and a
development website. When the website goes live it could have 500
concurrent users on it. We would like a firewall that is reliable
and somewhat easy to configure. I have heard the Watchguard is
easier to configure, but Cisco PIX are one of the best firewall, but
a little harder to get up and going. Any suggestions would be gladly
accepted.

Thanks Beldon
