Actually... the discussion started out looking at layer 3 only.
That's when I claimed you would not be able to find the bridge.
This based on remote attacks, and not directly attached to the
same switch as where the firewall has its interface connected.
And my focus was also more in the way to implement the firewall
in already existing networks...
