Many thanks to all that have given me guidance thus far. I do have a Cisco 74-0495-01 Eq. RJ45 / DB9F RS-232 Modular Adapter. Will that do? I can plug my RJ 45 cable into it. I've fired up hyperterminal on my laptop (W2K OS)and configured it to connect using VT100 but nothing seems to be happening. Any suggestions?
