I'm seeing the same error after compiling from source / grabbing the
deps I needed manually. I spent the weekend merging it in from dports
hoping that would work a bit better. One hitch was that I'd not had
X11.app installed -- took care of that and I was able to fully port
install.
Unfortunately the new binary in /opt has the same problem.
