I get an error when running make dist with those sources. But I can't
verify that running autogen on my system also produces the broken
makefile, since I get the following error while autogen:ing:

checking for libgnomeui-2.0 gtk+-2.0 >= 2.4.0 glib-2.0 >= 2.4.0
libglade-2.0 gstreamer-0.8... Package gstreamer-0.8 was not found in
the pkg-config search path.
Perhaps you should add the directory containing `gstreamer-0.8.pc'
to the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable
No package 'gstreamer-0.8' found
make: *** [config.status] Fel 1

I have gstreamer 0.8 installed (as an rpm package) but I don't have a
gstreamer-0.8.pc file.
