Hi list.

I recently discover a bug in fish (or in autotools, but I think I post
here first :-)) which makes it impossible to run "make dist" in a
standard autotools controlled source tree.

After 2 days of debugging automake macros, configure.in etc I decided
to try it with a user who has bash as default shell. It worked
flawlessly.

I'd be happy to provide more details, but I suspect that if this is a
bug, you can find out more by just trying to run "make dist" in
basically any open source source directory.
