I think it would be great to improve the way Fish highlights matching parentheses, brackets, braces and quotes.
In Fish 1.21.8, when the cursor moves on top of a character that is a candidate for matching, the position becomes bold on the default background color, unlike the cursor's usual reverse color. This gives the impression that the cursor has disappearedi, and s quite confusing, even after using Fish every day. It would be much better if the position of the cursor was always in reverse color, and any macthing character be, say, in blue or bold cyan or reverse only momentarily. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Using Tomcat but need to do more?
