www-browser and x-www-browser are just symbolic links for debians
alternatives system. So when a user sets their default browser in
Ubuntu or Debian, then it should change the links to point to another
browser.

On my computer www-browser points to w3m, but if I uninstall w3m (the
only text mode browser I have installed) then the link gets removed.
x-www-browser works the same way. Therefore, I would suggest that
these should be checked for before individual programs.
