Are you sure it isn't "newaliases"? It's finding a command with that prefix
in your $PATH (which, on my system, means it's matching
/usr/bin/newaliases). Technically, that's an autosuggestion. You can also
type "aliase" then press [tab] and it should autocomplete to "newaliases".
Also, it's generally a good idea to mention the fish version and OS you're
running on.
