Thanks Dave. "SettlementInstructions" is a message on its own. I was looking for a field to store the Settlement Location within an order(Eg:NewOrderSingle) or a Trade(Ed:ExecutionReport) message. This is because : We collect the order/trade data from the Brokers with most of the information in it. Then we book the trades in the system. Then we generate Settlement Request messages for each of the trades booked and send them to EuroClear/Crest Regards, Jayashree ------------------------------------------------------ This > > Hi there, > > > > Please could anyone tell me why "SettlLocation" is said to be not required > > in FIXML? > > > > How do we specify the Settlement Centre in Fixml? > > > > Thanks > > > > Jayashree > > Hello Jayashree, > > Please check the following link for specifications on SettlLocation: > > http://www.btobits.com/fixopaedia/fixdic42/message_Settlement_Instructions_T_.html > > Regards, > Dave Arter > HP Enterprise Services [You can unsubscribe from this discussion group by sending a message to mailto:[email protected]] -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Financial Information eXchange" group.
