Your concerns expressed in the Fjord Horse Digest were taken into consideration when a location was decided for the Annual NFHR Membership meeting. .....> I personally would like to see more membership participation at the annual general membership meeting. I'm looking for suggestions, but I think the location and time of year are not the issues. I think that no one is really interested in attending the general membership meetings. Maybe next year we can have clinics and seminars during the same weekend to attract some members.
Take care!

I THINK YOU ARE SO CORRECT! Time and location are inconsequential and very few are inclined to attend; irrefutably BLARING factors which should logically dictate finding OTHER means of member input.

The many left at home sitting on their resources, time, technology, and inspiration, are the MAJORITY!

Why try and entice members to come to the 'mountain,' so to speak, why not bring the 'mountain' to the members...?

You may be required to have an annual meeting, but you are not required to refuse a membership (proxy) vote!

As this situation stands, all registry policy and procedure is dictated by a select few without prior membership knowledge.

It's not right !
