Hi All, Just wanted to share my good luck this evening. My kids and I went to muck stalls at the barn and when we were finished, I told the kids to go sit in the car and to keep the car doors open so I could see where I was going. It was very rainy and windy and dark out. Then I turned off all the barn lights, closed the barn doors etc, and made my way over to the car, a silver PT Cruiser. Just as I was getting into my car I heard the crack of a tree branch above me and I dove into the car just in time. A large branch hit the car and the driver's door. Part of the branch seems to have hit the car on the other side where my daughter Polly (almost 8) was standing. She said something hit her on the head but not badly. The barn manager came out and helped us remove the branch so we could get out of the driveway. It caused major damage on both sides of the car, but we are all ok!
