Hi Brigid,
I attended a "trail hazard" clinic earlier this year and we had to ride
up to an upright plastic barrel, pick up the end of a rope, and drag a sack
full of noisy pop cans down around a pole and return to barrel. If I remember
correctly, the rope was about 20 ft. long. There were 2 fjords there, they
both did great. Many other horses freaked out, some dumping the riders. Hope
that helps and have fun!!! Shawna in OR

  Hi Everyone-

I'm going to my first trail trials in a couple weeks, and it sounds like
great fun. All the obstacles seem pretty logical except the "drag." Can
anyone
tell me exactly how this is done?
