Apology accepted. Stunning to read of your opinions and intention
to sell her on the list. Clarifing one thing.....after hearing of what we
percieved was your confidence issues in hitching Korina for the first time, (
new
driver, green horse, understandable ! ) and that she was going to be sent for
additional training, we offered ( several times ) to take time off work, come
up to OR. and spend some time with you and her......drive all day, singles,
pairs whatever. Our expense of course, stay in our LQ trailer and help you do
what we had Korina doing well here. That is when ( not in the context of buying
her ) that I stated our driving record, so that you would be confident in OUR
background. Sending her off with the additional expense was your choice of
course. Korina was ridden for a year off our property ( did great ) and was
only
driven at home. For the record.
Again, apology accepted.

On to update on Ayla. We have been invited to participate in some "
Opening ceremonies " of an equine expo here in Cedar City June 3,4. The
Search and Rescue group will be bringing in the flags and doing a short drill
while
they play the American anthem and some other music. The ring will be set up
with jumps for the first clinician, so we are working out some logistics and
patterns in there with the hazzards in place.
Im scared to death ! In our parade outfits ( sort of a Buckaroooo
style shirt, brown pants, western hats with official sheriffs bands, saddle
pads
with the S+R posse sheriffs patchs......) Im pretty sure Im going to fall off.
Not one of those cute, controlled jump offs....but a BIG FAT OLD LADY triple
gainer with a 1/2 twist thrown in for technical difficulty. Im hoping for at
least a 9.3 for artistic impression. Ayla has stood up to some pretty tough
training since Dec. but NEVER in front of a crowded indoor room of people,
kids,
music, lights ect. ect. We do not have time to set up this senerio of course,
so Im trying to get out and ride more right now, in traffic ect. but I keep
having dreams of this day. How lame can I get. I KNOW that my mental state will
carry down the reins and she will know my anxiety. Any suggestions on this
dreaded preformance ? Or perhaps on how to improve my score on the required
moves
when I launch off ? Point my toes ? They will be squished into boots. Judges
may not notice......
