This message is from: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Hello everyone,
Below is straight from the bylaws on page 6: "Article X BOD Election Timeline & Other Ballet Criteria... B. Timeline of Election Procedures: 1. August 1: Nominations open for BOD; 2. September 15: Nomination closing date for BOD;" So, how does one go about nominating people for a BOD position? There is nothing here whatsoever about submitting a resume like Catherine suggested. Later on, under Article XII, it states that people interested in such a position can personally contact the Election Committee. Also, according to the way I have read the bylaws, there is not an appeals process in place in the event the majority of NFHR members disagrees with a BOD change or incorporation. The only appeals process discussed is under Article V, #10, and it reads to be more of an appeals process developed for those members who have had their membership taken away. There is absolutely nothing here that I can find that states there is another appeals process for BOD decisions that might go against a membership majority. Lynda
