Hello All, This is from Catherine Lassesen, personally. I know it is early to think about this.however, summer gets busy and DEADLINES come and go FAST. This year (2004) there will be three seats available on the Board of Directors. Three of the BOD terms will end in December and the three of the current BOD members are not running for a second term at this time. WE need VOLUNTEERS to run for these open seats. The process starts with the "Closing of Nominations" which is September 15th. All resumes and statements must be postmarked by this date. You can send in your resume and statement at anytime before this time. WHICH MEANS. start thinking about it NOW.. NFHR need YOU. We need Business minded individuals that are willing to serve a 3 year term on the Board of Directors. It included conference calls, emails communications and becoming involved in one or more NFHR Committees. It involved a Face to face meeting in January of each year. NFHR does pay for your trip to the meeting and pays for the housing and food while attending. This is the only time you as a Director get a financial benefit. It involves working with our members to benefit the community as a whole. It is challenging and fun and it is hard work and rewarding all at the same time. NFHR is your organization and every member should step up and volunteer at one point.
