I didn't think to place an ad in the Herald for the following items, but with
my new shipment of Tidaholm Marathon
carriages coming from Sweden in February, I HAVE to part with something in
order to fill the container (and make space
in my drive shed/garage, living room, you name it!). Husband anxious.

SO .. here's a list of things I have been threatening to put on EBay but have
never taken the time to find out how to do
it! If anyone out there is looking for that special gift they didn't give or
get for Xmas! here are some suggestions:
: )

HARNESS

1) 2 sets of almost new, Norwegian draft harness, with padded hames, wooden
saddle, and custom traces (can be hooked
with Norwegian and NA equipment). Sold separately or as a pair. US $ 800 each
or US $ 1500 for both.

2) 1 fully restored, unusually dressy Norwegian pleasure harness, soft black
black with unique silver ornamentation.
Some of you on the list looked at it last summer, when I was asking $3000. I
have been hanging onto it out of greed
but am now prepared to part with it for exactly what I paid for it, in light of
the rise of the Cdn $. It will make a
real splash in presentation.
US$ 2, 500.

NORWEGIAN CARRIAGE Antique, turn of the last century, elegant Norwegian trille
(similar to our phaeton), in excellent
condition. Traditional vehicle for Sunday outings in rural areas or regular
transport in cities. Seats 5. Removable
skeleton seat, fifth wheel. Metal wheels. Comes with shafts for single horse
and pole for a pair. US$ 3, 800.

PORTLAND SLEIGH Excellent condition, 2 seater sleigh, with original paint
(black, yellow shafts, red pinstriping still
visible), perfect match for those furry Fjord coats in winter. Offset shafts.
Moves nicely. Having just traded my
Norwegian single seater to Pat Wolfe (whose wife has barely been able to get
him out of the seat and back in the house
ever since) for his Ontario two seater, and already the proud owner of a
beautifully painted (appropriate Dodge green,
1997 to match my truck - I only noticed the metallic flakes a year later!) now
I have more sleighs and carts than I have
space for or can use! Help! It is not very heavy and would be easy to ship.
But I'm also prepared to drive it down to
its home states (NY, VT/NH) if someone wants to share the gas. Always looking
for an excuse to travel. : ) Priced
to sell @ US$ 800.

We also have ONE 2003 Felix daughter for sale, out of Tunica (Kalypso/Courage)
.. she is very elegant and looks like she
will be fairly tall. Very sweet tempered and she has that Felix float. We
have trouble distinguishing her from the
Bragda/Felix fillly we plan on keeping.
