This message is from: Joel a harman <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> There is a reason work horses were bred - big bone. Pulling a plow, etc around a soft field is alot of work. Work horses have bigger feet so the weight will be spread out on that soft ground so they won't sink up to their knees.
I don't know for a fact but I think finer boned horses would have more leg problems if they did heavy draft work all the time.
