In answer to your question about salt blocks. My vet recommends always using the plain salt blocks with no minerals added because the feed usually has the proper balance of vitamins and minerals in it -- more is not necessarily better -- in his opinion. If you were feeding straight oats and no supplement, however, I'm not sure what he would recommend. What do you think about the salt block issue, Brian???????? Susan in icy Minnesota
