Hello Ann & Mark,
 Welcome to the list from Bernadine in Michigan.  
Yes, Fjords are bossy!!  But, like others have said "be firm".  
We have one that we just have to really get insistent with and then he'll
sigh, and mumble "Okay, if I absalutely have to, I'll do it"  and then he does
a wonderful job.
Most of the others are so willing, they ask you first!!
