dear listers,
i opened the front page of the local paper today and there was a three page
article on libby, montana. it was in the sacto. bee, sacramento, calif.
article.."air of sadness, residents in battle for life and breath." inside
there was a large photo of a local with one of her horses. IT WAS A
FJORD!!!! the ladie's name is lerah parker. is she on the list? the
article was about a problem they have up there concerning asbestos mining
and the health problems it has caused for the people of the town.
apparently they want to open a mine close to sact. somewhere in the
foothills near here. if any local libbyite wants the article, just let me
know, i'll send it. hope this does'nt harm attendance at the nordic fest.
