Some Swedish Fjord-fans are producing a paper that are supposed to be handed out at fairs, shows etc. The idea is to provide information to people who are intrested in the breed, but also to show other fjord-owners what fjords are capable of to encourage them to work with their own horses. Therefore, photos of fjords performing different activities- dressage, western, logging, endurance - everything, is needed together with stories of fjords who competes successfully in all disciplines (at all levels) AND of fjords that are doing a good job on the homefront, like horses that are used in the farm work, horses in teraphetic riding programmes etc. Unfortunately, there is no money in this project, so the pictures can not possibly be payed for. Nobody is going to benefit economically from this work neither. The product is going to be given away for free to anyone intrested in the breed. If you are willing to let us use your stories and/or pictures, please e-mail them to me ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) or to Stella Norrvi ([EMAIL PROTECTED]). At the moment we're working to get pictures of a fjord used for jousting and fjords doing piaff (dressage).
