I'm glad you spoke up about psyllium being a waste of money. I was waiting to see what all the different opinions were on this product. Controlled studies have shown that adding psyllium to the diet does not prevent or cure sand colic. Horses already ingest a great deal of fiber from the hay and grains they eat and, as your vet said, a tiny scoop of psyllium in the feed is like peeing in the ocean. Steve White Waterloo, Nebraska
