I've spent some hours this weekend trying to make 6-generations pedigrees for my two fjords. Since I only have access to the Swedish studbooks, I'm pretty satisfied with the result. Cider's pedigree is complete apart from three names in the 6th generation. My mare Lektra's pedigree lacks six names in the 5th generation and some more in the 6th. So now I would like to know if anyone on the list has information about these horses: Norwegian registred: REGENT N1013 HEIDI N6264 RUSS N1078 FOLDA N6620 Danish registred: HANSINE D226-E84 (or Hansigne - there are two diffrent spellings in the Swedish studbook) MORK D33-E15 KATHJA D1662 LISE KRUSTRUP D1183-E137 MORSÖ ÖYARBLAKKEN D145 DAGNY D2033-E254 Ö=O with / Does anyone know if REGENT N1013 and REGENT D343 is the same horse? Wonder if anyone has tried to follow their horses back to pre-studbook time? I think that would be instresting! My fiancee is working in Oslo right now, so I think I'll try to find a library where I can check the old Norwegian studbooks next time I'll go and visit him....
