We are selling our gelding to get another mare, Betsy is helping me out on selling and looking, but i thought id post to the list also. the Mare we are looking for has to be very special (arent they all) BECAUSE she will be the trail horse for my partially disabled husband. He can ride but has very limited use of his legs. The mare must be EXPERIENCED trail but need not be endurance candidate. She needs to be very sound and calm and must stand perfectly still while mounting. Neck reining would be great but plow reining (as long as no spurs are needed) is okay. No older than 12 would be great and i assume no younger than 4 (to have the experience in trail i figure) I REALLY NEED TO FIND ONE FAIRLY SOON AS HE WILL GO BUY A NON-FJORD IF I DONT FIND ONE . and we dont want that do we????? Gelding will be considered also, Also our gelding Ike (12 years old) is for sale, Great trail horse, driven, does not neck rein. and my husband said he will deliver up to 7 hours included and then anywhere you want for driving and accomodation costs (the man loves to drive) email me if you want more info on Ike.
