This message is from: [EMAIL PROTECTED] They can be scary. I've heard of them chasing a herd of horses, but no horses were lost. There are some in the hills were I used to board my TB, and when there was a sighting of one the next property over, the horses were kept in at night. Recently, my old neighbor (new, but he's in his 90's) told me he had one sitting on a haystack 3 years ago. I'm a bit concerned, but not extremely worried at this point. If you can though, keep your horses in at night. With no way a big cat can get in. And I would suppose that if you can't put them in at night, they would be safer in a herd than singled out.
