This message is from: [EMAIL PROTECTED] (Claudia Galup) This is probably the first time I've written to the list, although I've been lurking and learning since the beginning of the year. My first activities each day when I arise are feeding the cats, making coffee, and reading the fjordhorse digest. You've all been an immeasurable help to me......I've learned more in the past several months than I did in the first three years I owned a fjord! I'm one of those beginners at Libby, (my first ever fjord horse show), who was confused and disappointed not o hear some of the information I was interested in at the show. I really was hoping to learn more about the parentage of some of the beautiful and talented horses I saw there.......especially in such classes as Get of Sire, and Product of Dam (I hope I remembered that right). I was confused and really disappointed not to be told who the prizewinning dams and sires were..........I suppose there's no one so avid as a convert, and now that I'm so crazy about these horses I'm eager for information. I don't think I've ever been to a show that ran more smoothly, or more friendly. My two Good Sport friends who don't own fjords, but came with me anyway also loved the show and the Fjords. One of the two, who does own Other Equines said she'd never been to a show with such well behaved horses. It was a wonderful time, and I agree with Carol Rivoire and the others who felt that it only would have been better with more information about the lineage of the horses.
