This message is from: "B. Hendricks" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> I agree that the Arabs get bad press. I think a lot of people just don't know how to deal with a highly intelligent, sensitive hot-blood horse. I have a friend who bred Arabs for over thirty years, and ever saw an "insane" one on her place, stallions included. I also noticed several "insane" ones that came into her hands that soon became quite sane - proof that their handling is the root of most problems people have with Arabians. She did everything with her horses, cow-penning, cutting, etc., and her halter horses were always spirited but not freaked out at all. My daughter also has Arabians, and not one is insane. She taught them to drive in a very short time, and trots all over the countryside with no problems.

I am a devoted Fjord person. But I feel arabs often > get bad press, and undeservedly so. I never appreciated arabs so much as (snipped)
