The normal gestation period is 333 to 340 days. At our farm the average gestation has been 342 days. I've heard of some mares going as long as 365 days (a full year!) Try not to worry, nature knows best. Just monitor your mare closely for signs and try to be there to observe the birth. Good luck. Lori
