I'd guess just the same as other horses. Juniper was way overdue when I first met her. But then when she foaled Holly, she was one day early. (I credit red raspberry leaf for her easy delivery). Nikki was pretty much on the money, but with a retained placenta. (That was before I learned about red raspberry leaf). My rule of thumb whenever I worry about something (like a horse being overdue).... when in doubt.... call my vet! Wherever I live, the vets get used to me calling, not all the time, but whenever I don't know whether or not to be worried. I'd rather pay a $30 farm visit and learn that the situation is not serious than not call and later find out that vet care was needed. (like when Juniper kicked Merrygold and Merry was pumping blood out of one of her legs, it looked awful, but was not as serious as it looked!). Pamela
