I've recently discovered that clicker training works much better if I deliberately train away the "mugging behavior." When I do that, I get incredible willingness and softness. My stallion (after VERY LITTLE work) backs up when I merely point at his chest. And he will turn on the forehand with just a finger pointed at the back of his rib cage. And he comes to me looking all soft-eyed and interested. I highly recommend it - even if only as a break from "serious training." Gail Russell Forestville CA [EMAIL PROTECTED]
