Denise- I laughed out-loud reading your story. I could just picture him
trying to sneak up on those fish. They are so cute when the young ones play
in the water, but to add the goldfish must have really put some excitement
into his day.

We have some friends who had a retired racehorse that was full of
personality. Part of one field was in a small wooded area and when we would
go out to pick up pinecones for craft projects, the horse would try to sneak
up on us! It was a game she loved to play and she was quite good at it. She
could startle me often. I never realized horses could tippy-toe!

My friends would keep goldfish in their stock tank, the cows and other horse
never minded the little swimmers but this horse would take exception to
visitors in her trough. She would suck them up and spit them out on the
ground! She would stand with her nose right at the water line until one swam
by, than swoosh, it was history. The kids would try to watch whenever she
was "fishing" at the tank so they could rescue the fish, but alas, many
ended up as fertilizer.
Laughing my way to work on a perfect sunny day,
