I have been asked to pass this information on to fjord enthusiasts :)
For Sale: fjord gelding - Rorik's Gunner
14 years old
Sire: Anvil's Rorik
Dam: Nipa
14 hh
Price: $3500
This horse is currently in Minnesota with the owners brother. Horses owner
lives in Montana.
Gunner has been used in the past 4 years as a riding horse and pack horse in
the mountians. Previously, he was owned by a woman who drove him.
I have seen this gelding - he appeared quiet, willing and sweet. During the
short time I spent with Gunner I sensed his driving skills are more "fine
tuned" than his riding skills. However, 5 of us rode him around an arena,
various skill levels, with a bit in his mouth that did not fit :(- he was
totally "ho-hum" with all riders.
Believe it or not I think he is a bit underweight!! (But then, I am used to
a 13.3 hh, 1200 lb fjord :) )
