This is not uncommon. It isn't that there is an extra horn, but the one enlarged horn (gravid horn) is just distorted somewhat from where the foals hind legs are. So it isn't always perfectly oblong like the non-gravid horn is. Steve Steve and Amy White Prairieholm Farm Waterloo, Nebraska
