WOW! All of you that live in the Pacific Northwest missed a GREAT show. The Golden Horse Show was great! I think there were at least 10 Fjords there. Many won 1st in several of the events. There were 80-90 horses total. Some classes were 19 - 21 competitors in size. The class selection was good an the location was nice. You all need to place this show on the calendar for next year. Show staff gave very nice ribbons away and fun awards for champion classes. It was a friendly atmosphere and a very fun show. Just before the Fjord ONLY drive class... I yelled... Hey Fjord Drivers... Remember we are all winners we are driving a Fjord!..... All of us felt that way. Our Fjords behaved, performed and were the best of all the breeds there. Thank you to all the staff of the show and all of the Fjord people that made it so much fun to go. Amy, Bud and Tillie Evers are to be congratulated on all the work they did for the show. Helga..... thanks for the beers, pizzas, laughs and thanks for the future fun!!!! Catherine Lassesen and Blaamann.... our just turned 4 year old boy that went to his first show.... did his first cones, his first utility course and his first set of pleasure classes... All of his performances were honest and good. We even have ribbons to prove it... but it was the effort and the good behavior, he gave this weekend that won my heart.
