Really?  I've noticed just the opposite.  Had more problems with my pinto, tb 
and qh than my fjords.  Juniper is The Ideal Horse <g> and handles whatever 
comes her way.  Skylark, when she went away from home was fine.  Holly didn't 
seem to mind being taken away.  I've found them to be more interested in 
their new surroundings than worried.  When they are the horses left behind, 
they don't seem to mind much at all.  The qh on the other hand freaks out and 
trumpets to whoever is leaving, and HATES to be taken away.  So far the only 
fjord I have with a problem is the one that is going to be weaned soon.  And 
even that is not so bad.  When she's away from mom, she trumpets once or 
twice, then looks for food.  :)
