Hello all,

haven't had time to see all the replies to Lois' email yet. Just wanted to
reply to the herd-bound behaviour. I would rather say the opposite. With my
experience from Norway, fjords seem to form extremely close bonds with
people and are LESS herd-bound than other horses. Maybe part of the equation
is that most fjords in Norway come from smaller breeding farms with lots of
"bonding time" with the person. Most farms have just one foal a year.

Don't know, but it puzzled me.
