Hi Everyone .. this is just a "heads up" to let you all know that Olaf and I
have just embarked on another project .. I have just imported a carriage - a
Trille, 6 seater commercial vehicle, a Karjol (sold to Pat Wolfe, sorry guys)
and 2 very small and fast traditional Norwegian sleighs, both having been redone
in their lifetime, but both 'antique' and about to go out for refinishing to
make them perfect. They are unbelievably beautiful, to my eye .. and will no
doubt go like the wind .. Beside my Albany cutter, they look tiny! I see them
as the Miatas of the carriage world .. There is already interest in one, and I'm
not sure I want to part with the other (a little blue one seater I have secretly
labelled "the Bumble Bee" - the more delicate of the two, with the groom seat
behind and the original plush on the seats).

I have more several more - waiting to be shipped in Norway. All unique .. the
ones waiting in Norway have not been touched at all .. I know that many people
might prefer to do their own finishing, so am holding off on sending out the two
I have here, pending an indication of interest from any of you. Otherwise, in
two weeks time, off they go and up goes the price. As they are, I am asking $
2, 200 US for them, plus shipping to wherever - this reflects their cost, the
original shipping by sea and of course, their scarcity. There are no duties on
vehicles over 50 years which these certainly are. Once refinished, they will be
matchless examples of turn of the century sleighs.

This is also to put everyone on notice that Olaf and I are also importing into
Canada and the US three models of marathon carts (I have just acquired one a
year old that has made a fantastic difference to my horses and my driving! from
Sweden . the Volvo of the marathon world .. Olaf is the distributor for Norway
and as soon as I have the translations of the brochure, I will put pictures and
information about them (and our selection of traditional Norwegian carriages) on
our web site (www.wakerobinfarm.ca) SOON .. It's sadly still under development
as the work that pays for my horses (almost) seems to get in the way on a
regular basis!

In the meantime, if anyone would like to see pictures of any of the above, email
me privately.
