I have experienced this with two Belgians (who came from a flat area (when they got out of their stalls). Our place is VERY hilly and they were very uncomfortable and klutzy going down hill. One actually fell over when I tried to turn him on slightly unlevel area! They are doing much better with practice.

My fjord who grew up on hills, is very coordinated.
