Hello List:

I just wanted to let folks know I am moving overseas and am selling my 8 year old red dun gelding. He is 14 hands and of a lighter build -- maybe 900 lbs on the tape if he took a deep breath. He is registered with FBA (Fjordhorse Breeders of America). He is "Yule" FBA-1171, foaled 10/6/97. His breeder is Leonard Rice, H Bar C, Inc. of Baker, Nevada. His sire is Nils and dam is Seria. He is a grandson of Grabb on his sire's side.

I have put a photo album up on webshots.com.

(If you have any trouble with the link above, you can just go to webshots.com and put in my member name luvmypony. That will take you to Dink's album.

Although he came to me as Yule, I have called him Fair Dinkum, or Dink for short. He is clicker trained to do several tricks and loves the whole clicking game.

Dink would like a new owner/friend who will continue his clicker training. When he came to me, he wasn't keen on people, but now he thinks people are very good company. I attribute this to the communication through clicking.

Dink has been my favorite of my small herd, and I will miss him terribly. But it's time to find him a new home as I will be leaving for England in August.

Dink is broke to ride, but needs lots of wet saddle blankets. For the past five years he's mostly been my clicker training trick horse, while I drove my Fjord mare (recently sold to Linda Taylor in California). He's participated in two or three Fjord Fun Days at Starfire Farm. He even performed his tricks there.

Have a look at his webshots album. There's 60 pictures of him doing just about everything he knows. He would make someone a lovely friend and a great little trick Fjord to take to Libby in the fall! And his lovely red dun color really stands out in a crowd of brown duns.

Let me know if you're interested or need more details.

Cheers!

Karen Keith
