Well, I just checked the pedigree of every white dun we currently have
on the property, and every one has Ola Gik in its background.

One is MVF Sara, a Norwegian Import (imported by Phil Pritchard - owned
by Susan North) and several of her daughters.

Sara's 4 generation lineage does show Ola Gik (one time - no Kviten) on
the topside, through her sire Gargo, on his damside, Bjorka, sired by
Ola Gik.

Her white daughters (3) have been sired by three different brown dun
stallions:

Millenium, by Hostar
Starfire Biela, by BDF Obelisk
Starfire Dauria, by Kastanjegardens Fernando

Her "white genes" must be very strong.

Another is Sandvik's Bella, Norwegian import (imported by Julie Will -
owned by Susan Cargill) by Aarnesblakken.

Another is Mykleblakka, Norwegian import by Viljar Brim. (imported by
Julie Will - owned by Susan Cargill)

Also Anvil's Rethel, by Liedjo.

I've also noted that a high percentage of greys have Ola Gik in their
lineage.

Beth
