I think I saw the guy you are talking about in MN at the Expo this spring. His name is Scot Hansen, web site www.horsethink.com He gave a clinic on Self Defense for the Trail Rider , Making Your Horse Road Safe, and much more. He is a retired mounted police officer, and had trained officers and horses, purchased remounts and worked the streets. He did a great job and I hope to see him again.
