It's exciting to learn of horse parks all over the world, and this is just a public plug and reminder to all those with a horse park in their neck of the woods to be supportive of it. If you live in Washington state, please take note of the Washington State Horse Park as it develops. http://www.washingtonstatehorsepark.org/ It's exciting to think what it will be like when there is a full facility for everyone to use for shows, vacations, etc! The WaStHP is in the middle of the state, with great access from all points.
The three fjords here are all different in their coat growth this season! They're all shedding their summer coats like crazy, and the mare, Biscuit is growing a coat like a woolly mammoth, while the young gelding is growing thickness and the other gelding is somewhere in between. The days feel suddenly shorter and there is a lovely crispness in the air!
