Here is a link to the Kentucky Horse Park newsletter that contains some information (and a picture or two) on upcoming events including the Fjord Horse Breed Weekend. It is a PDF file about 14 pages long so it make take a longer moment to download.

This message is from: "Curtis Pierce" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sandy Biluk asked "I was wondering if anyone has ever been to the NF breeds weekend at the Kentucky Horse Park and if anyone thought it was worth the trip." This is the very first Fjord Horse Breed Weekend at the Kentucky Horse Park on Oct 13 and 14. The NFHR Board hopes that it happens every year from now on. There will be 10 Fjords there this year. We perform on both days at 11:00am and 2:00pm in the parade of breeds. The presentations will be about 20 minutes long and will include dressage, therapeutic driving, CDE driving, western riding, circus tricks, log pulling, jumping, pleasure driving. We will have the Fjords available in the Big Barn and information displays there. The Fjords representing the breed are brown duns, a grey, red duns, and a white dun. There will be mares, geldings, and a stallion. We hope that everyone that comes to the park that weekend comes by and visits with us. By the way, there will a lot of Fjords participating in the National Drive happening at the park the same weekend. The National Drive horses will be in the horse show area of the park. If you are at the park, come by and talk with us. Curt Pierce and Marsha Korose Mathias, WV http://www.deepcreekfjords.com/ The FjordHorse List archives can be found at: http://tinyurl.com/rcepw
