Yes, I know my Fjords live in Ohio, but this seems
appropriate for many of you/us! Sunday, my F250 4x4
was frozen to the ground in front of the barn. I did
finally get it loose, but I almost got the tow chain
and the tractor to pull the truck to break the wheels
loose from the ground!

It's winter in Iowa
And the gentle breezes blow
Seventy miles an hour
At thirty-five below.
Oh, how I love Iowa
When the snow's up to your butt
You take a breath of winter
And your nose gets frozen shut.
Yes, the weather here is wonderful
So I guess I'll hang around
I could never leave Iowa
'Cause I'm frozen to the ground
