He was stiff, reluctant, and not himself. Unfortunately, a lot of us get Lyme in CT. At least the vets are very aware. Basically, if a dog or horse is lame, they test for Lyme. As another person wrote, however, Lyme can manifest itself in other forms and a baseline is a very good idea. Most animals in this area have been exposed so there will be an above normal reading, but just how high is what you want to know. Valerie Columbia, CT
